To start, Boulder Creek wants you to know that these homes are not tiny homes! The difference? wee-Cottages were designed to allow for standard sized furniture, appliances, cabinets, etc – not the small custom-made (and quite pricey) furniture and appliances you’ve seen on HGTV’s Tiny House Hunters. Why is this important? Standard furniture sizes and appliances are much less expensive than custom tiny sizes – which means they are easier to repair/replace/reuse when the time comes! If you’re downsizing or moving from a rental – it’s highly likely that your current refrigerator, washer/dryer and furniture will fit just fine.
These energy efficient homes are a great fit for 1st time homebuyers, down-sizers, single income families, resource-conscious buyers and the emerging “down-shifters” demographic. These 16’ wide homes are situated on 26’ x 90’ lots (corners are a little larger) – allowing for small yards, 1 car garage and additional parking – with snow removal, exterior painting, street-facing and alley facing landscaping serviced by an HOA ($118/mo + $43/mo master HOA).
