Vegas in Stapleton? When? Where?
No expense has been spared with nearly $45k being spent by sponsors and the hosts to put together this first-class event. With major sponsors such as MGM Grand Las Vegas and Tito’s Handmade Vodka how could this not be a great night. The event is Friday, November 2nd from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at the Hangar at Stanley Marketplace. The Stanley Beer Hall, a Vegas Night sponsor, is hosting the official after-party (come on, you know you were going there anyway).
Why in Stapleton? Why not just hop a plane to Vegas?
Well, we’re glad you asked! Don’t get us wrong, Vegas is great and can be a ton of fun, but… when you attend Vegas Night in Stapleton you’re supporting a great cause… the kids! This event is hosted by the Westerly Creek Elementary PTA and proceeds go to Westerly Creek Elementary. The goal of this fundraising event is to provide key enrichment resources to students and help close the school funding gap.
Who’s invited?
Just like Vegas, you have to be 21+ to play (and to attend the event). Adults in the Stapleton community and beyond are welcome to attend. An estimated 500 people will be in attendance.
What should I expect?
With friendly, professional dealers and regulation gaming equipment you’re destined to have a great time! There will be 25+ casino tables including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Poker (Texas Hold’em) and more. Casino games will operate from 7-10 p.m. and all tables use traditional Las Vegas rules and odds. You’ll receive $200 in casino chips when you check in for the event and have the opportunity to buy additional chips throughout the night.
When the casino games conclude at 10 p.m., you’ll trade in your winning chips for raffle tickets for chance to win some amazing prizes at the end of the night. Winners will be announced around 10:20 p.m. ****NOTE, you must be present to win. There’s over $17K in amazing prizes – Think a two-night stay at MGM Grand in Las Vegas with two tickets to see KA by Cirque du Soleil; overnight stay in a swanky downtown Denver hotel; one-week stay at a luxury 4-bedroom condo in Silverthorne; three-day RV rental for a pretty awesome road trip; tickets to the Broncos AND the Packers, both with on-field access; party buses to Black Hawk and overnight stays in Black Hawk; tickets to two of the hottest holiday shows at the DCPA; wine & cheese pairing party; pizza for a year, and more!
