Free Dinner at Neighborhood Pizzeria for Furloughed Workers

We love what Oblio’s Pizzeria is doing to help furloughed workers and their families affected by the government shutdown.  They are offering complimentary dinner for furloughed workers and their families until the government shutdown is over. Also, YOU can help by joining them for dinner next Monday 1/14 or Wed 1/16 (5-9pm)- 20% of sales will be donated to a few families who have been more severely impacted by the furlough. You can also sponsor a family’s meal by purchasing a $25 “card”. Help us spread the word!

Here’s what Morgan, one of the owners has to say:

“With love and compassion, we at Oblio’s would like to help support all of the people that have been affected by the government shutdown by offering COMPLIMENTARY dinner to all those who have been furloughed.

We know that offering free meals is only a small gesture but with hundreds of thousands of workers without paychecks right now who lack the disposable income to go out and eat, it’s the least we can do to help spread the love. We are just hoping to offer a bit of respite to folks and the opportunity to enjoy a carefree meal during this difficult time.

Must bring your government/federal ID.

Good for dine in or take out.”
