This Week in Central Park Denver Real Estate 5.3.24

9907 E. MLK Jr. Blvd, #103 is listed for $475,000

Just like that it’s May! Here at the Scoop we’re ready for some outdoor fun in the sun. And what better place to enjoy the summer than on a front porch?

I was touched by a recent post by Jeff Nazzaro on our team about spending time with his Grandmother on her front porch.

Here’s a quick excerpt:

“We celebrated my son’s 11th birthday the other day and 10 days later, my birthday followed. Birthdays can make a person feel a little nostalgic … One thought led to another, and I was recalling a memory I had of my grandmother. Granny found a home in a 55+ community called “Friendly Valley”. … Many homes in Friendly Valley offered a substantial front porch and residents used them.”

“Part of what Granny shared with me was a time in her life when “time” seemed to be more abundant. She described an era when wicker furniture, swings, and hanging plants adorned the front porches of many homes. On those front porches, she explained, impromptu conversations took place between neighbors.  One neighbor spoke and the other listened.  Discussions with neighbors evolved into meaningful moments. In today’s terms, “connection” happened and people were “present” on their front porch.”

Central Park is, in many ways, a porch community. It’s where many of us connect with neighbors, watch sunsets, and even hop on WiFi and catch up on emails. And if not on the front porch, then connection happens in our parks, on our streets, at community centers like Stanley Marketplace or the 29th Ave Town Center.

Here’s hoping you find a wonderful porch – or another delightful spot – to connect this summer!

And now, on to the real estate update (with a special emphasis on showcasing a few different Central Park porches)!

NEW INFINITY HOMES IN DENVER

Last but not least, there are a few opportunities to build / buy with one of our favorite builders, Infinity Homes, in Central Park’s North End neighborhood

We also following Infinity to two new neighborhoods. If you’re an Infinity fan, the Canyons in Denver’s Castle Pines is another neighborhood Infinity is building in. Lyric in Lone Tree has new Infinity lots coming online soon (exciting!). Lyric has been described by our builder friends as a “Central Park-similar” neighborhood, so I included a map of Lyric toward the bottom of this post so you can see where it’s located.

Please reach out if you’d like to learn more about building with Infinity.

Last but not least, below is a quick map showing where Lyric is located in south Denver.

Infinity, Shea, Thrive, and more are building in this “Central Park-similar” neighborhood just south of the DTC.

I’d love to help answer any questions you have!
