Skip the Stress: Where to Order your Thanksgiving Feast!

Some people love cooking a big meal from scratch for Thanksgiving. Some people…don’t. And that’s ok! Whether you’re expecting a big crowd or a few family members, and whether you want to outsource the whole shebang or bring a few sides to whoever is hosting, some amazing local food shops and restaurants have you covered. Here are some of our favorites–check dates to make sure you get your orders in on time and pickup times on your calendar! (Most spots require pickup before Thanksgiving Day.)

Pearl Market & Wine and Carmella’s (click link to order)

This Central Park gourmet market and restaurant is offering two dinner options. Carmella’s Thanksgiving Feast is a heat-and-serve meal with D Bar dinner rolls and garlic-herb butter, slow-roasted turkey breast, turkey gravy, orange-rosemary cranberry compote, Carmella’s house sausage stuffing, and choice of one side (D Bar mac & cheese or mashed potatoes), one vegetable (braised green beans, roasted cauliflower, or caramelized sweet potato), and one dessert (D Bar pumpkin, apple, or pecan pie). This meal serves four to six people for $185. They are also offering a Pearl Market & Wine Thanksgiving Box with a Red Bird turkey brined in-house for you to cook at home, paired with Avinyó Reserva Brut Cava, 2021 Timothy Malone Gamay Noir, and a Carmella’s cheese & charcuterie platter, for $169 (for an 8-to-12 pound turkey) or $189 (for a 16-to-20 pound turkey). They’ll be taking orders through November 20th, for pickup on the 25th or 26th in-store. Quantities are limited and they expect to sell out fast! 

Boychik Kitchen (click link to order)

You make the turkey, and Boychik will take care of the sides! This Stanley Marketplace gem is offering a variety of their Mediterranean dips (their hummus and whipped feta are my faves) as well as Mediterranean-inspired sides such as sweet potato mash (with spiced nuts and pomegranate molasses), pita bread stuffing, roasted cauliflower and broccoli, and roasted golden beet salad. Each dish feeds 4 to 6 people and the cost is $25 per dish or four for $90. Orders are due by November 23rd and pickup is November 24th from 11am to 8pm. 

Elita Specialty Market & Kitchen (click link to order)

Elita’s annual Thanksgiving pre-order menu features a small farm oven-ready turkey (multiple options and sizes available), along with a variety of sides including cast iron green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, Moroccan harissa roasted carrots, and cranberry, orange, and fig chutney. Orders can be placed on their website or by calling them directly and must be made by November 23rd. Pickup day for orders will be November 26th between 11am to 7pm.

Stanley Beer Hall (click link to order)

Chef Nick is preparing Thanksgiving Bundles that will feed 6 to 8 people. Dinner includes 10 to 12 pound whole brined and roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, glazed carrots, pull apart rolls, cranberry sauce, and a pumpkin pie. The dinner package will come with reheat instructions. The cost is $275. There is also an option to add a bottle of red or white wine or prosecco to your order for a true one-stop-shop feast. Orders must be placed by November 19th and pickup will be on November 26th from 2pm to 5pm. 

Miette et Chocolat

This award-winning French patisserie will take care of your sweet tooth this Thanksgiving with three pie options: sweet potato pecan pie, pecan pie, and French apple tart. Each pie is $46. Call or message them to order by November 19th for pickup on November 23rd and 26th. 

FlyteCo (click link to order)

For $165, their heat-and-serve meal serves four to six people. It includes sliced turkey breast and pulled dark meat, a quart of gravy, and a choice of three sides such as honey bourbon glazed carrots, green bean casserole, and mashed potatoes. Each dinner comes with dinner rolls with bacon maple butter and you can throw in a tiramisu for an additional $20. Order online until November 20th at 11:59pm for pick up on November 25th and 26th between 11am to 7pm.

Spinnelli’s (click link to order)

Order top-quality turkeys to cook yourself, and you can add on prepared sides like mashed potatoes, gravy, au gratin broccoli and cauliflower, and regular or gluten-free stuffing, as well as a variety of Hinman pies. You can pick up turkeys November 24th to 26th; sides, pick up on the 26th only. 

Steubens (click link to order)

The restaurant is offering a heat-and-eat meal including sliced applewood-smoked turkey breast, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy, stuffing with craisins, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce for $135 (feeds 6) and you can add on a chai-spiced pumpkin pie for $45. (Return the glass pie dish it comes in and get $10 credit!) Order by November 24th and you can pick it all up on the 26th. 

So Damn Gouda (click link to order)

Owned by a Central Park family, So Damn Gouda makes gorgeous charcuterie boards all year. They have two trays specially for Thanksgiving this year, with a range of cheeses including a triple-crème cow’s milk brie, a 20-month-aged sharp cheddar, and a one-year-aged Italian-style gouda; plus olives, dried fruit, and the ability to add a variety of cured meats. The smaller tray serves eight to 10 people and starts at $90.00; a larger version starts at $155 and serves 14 to 17 people. Place your order by November 23; the trays are available for pickup or delivery November 25th and 26th and pickup only on the 27th. 

Rolling Smoke

The barbeque spot is offering smoked turkeys and sides for your Thanksgiving meal from the Wheat Ridge and Centennial locations (though not the Stanley). Ten-to-14-pound smoked turkeys that will feed six to 10 people are $75, and they’re also offering sides including sausage cornbread stuffing, smoked collard greens, and smoked mac and cheese. Call or stop by to order before November 20th if not sooner—turkey quantities are limited. The meals will be available for pick-up on November 25th and 26th.

Chook (click link to order)

There’s no law that says you have to eat turkey on Thanksgiving! Starting November 13, Chook will be taking pre-orders for a chicken Thanksgiving dinner to pick up or for third-party delivery during select hours on November 26th and 27th. For $84.99, the dinner includes a whole rotisserie chicken, three sides, a salad, gravy, and a choice of pecan or pumpkin pie. On the 26th and 27th, you can also place an order for a la carte sides including mashed sweet potatoes topped with spiced nuts, stuffing, and green beans almondine in a range of serving sizes.

Clark’s Market in Lowry

If you’ve got eight to 10 people coming, their $140 Thanksgiving dinner packs a whole cooked turkey, sweet potatoes with pecans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and an apple pie; a smaller turkey breast version for $120 serves four to six people. You can add on starters like a shrimp platter ($99, serves 15 to 20 people) or topped brie ($13.99, serves four to six). You can also stock up on sides like crispy Brussels sprouts, scalloped potatoes, and butternut squash. The market is taking pre-orders now by phone or in person through November 24th. 

Whole Foods (click link to order)

You can order meals with heat-and-serve options for turkey breast and four sides ($89, serving four people) or with a whole turkey ($99, also for four), just the sides, just the turkey, or other combinations to suit your group. Get your order in by November 25th and check with the store for pickup time options.

Sprouts Farmers Market (click link to order)

You can order a dinner including a cooked turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce to serve six. The organic version is $122; the NAE (no antibiotics ever) version is $89.99. They need 48 hours notice; available from November 12th to the 28th, check with the store for pickup time options.
