Following the builders: Water park (!), carriage homes, and more from Wonderland Homes

Wonderland builds in RainDance, which has its own water park

Central Park’s builders have built hundreds of amazing homes around the neighborhood. Many of the builders have a devoted following. I remember walking through the original McStain floorpans close to the 29th Ave Town Center many moons ago. I still love those original McStains!

You might’ve had a similar experience. Maybe you’ve spent years pining over building, for example, a Wonderland Elizabeth. Unfortunately, outside the Elizabeth that’s currently available in North End (I chat about this available Wonderland home later in this post), you don’t have many options in Central Park. And this applies to all the builders, and all their floorpans.

Simply, there aren’t many new construction opportunities left in Central Park.

Wonderland Elizabeth in Central Park is available for $860,903

So are you out of luck if you want to build with Wonderland or another builder? Definitely not!

Almost all of Central Park’s builders build in other nearby neighborhoods. Wonderland builds in RainDance, Montaine, and other neighborhoods along the Front Range (more on these communities below!). Infinity builds 25 minutes down the road in Castle Pines in The Canyons. David Weekley builds in 5 neighborhoods around Denver. Parkwood is building homes close to DIA in Painted Prairie and in Sterling Ranch next to Chatfield State Park.

As part of our new “Following the builders” blog post series, I want to focus on one of my favorite Central Park builders in this post, Wonderland Homes. Wonderland has been building in Central Park for years, and our clients have always been fans of their floorpans, pricing, and quality.

Wonderland does have limited opportunities left in Central Park. My favorite opportunity at the moment?

Wonderland has a two-story Elizabeth floorplan with 2,736 finished square feet available for purchase right now (check out the picture closer to the top of this post). The home includes a finished basement, a 2 car detached garage, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, Chef’s kitchen, and more.

Listed for $860,903, this home is located at 10046 E. 63rd Ave Denver, Colorado and will be done in August 2022. Email me at Mariel@Focus-Realtors.com for more details.

So if you’re a devoted Wonderland fan, outside Central Park where else can you find Wonderland’s homes?

Montaine

Montaine is 15 minutes to the Tech Center, 25 minutes to Colorado Springs

I stumbled across Montaine a couple years ago while driving south on I-25. Located on the south side of Castle Rock, Montaine feels like it’s on the side of a mountain, with huge views west, hilly topography, and giant pine trees. You’re about 15 minutes from the Denver Tech Center, and about 25 minutes from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. So it’s one of the only communities that’s realistically commutable to both downtown Denver and downtown Colorado Springs!

Wonderland has 4 under construction homes available right now in Montaine, all of which face open space. Wonderland also has lots available, and we’re expecting more to come available through the rest of 2022.

Wonderland is building 5 different floorplans in Montaine, so there’s something for everyone, from 2 bedroom ranch homes all the way up to large 5+ bedroom single family homes.

Amenities in Montaine? Montaine’s Vista Clubhouse will feature a community pool and water play area, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a playground.

The community is home to 549 acres of open space, 13 miles of trails, and some amazing terrain with hills and scenic views of the majestic Rocky Mountains.

RainDance

RainDance’s community pool

It’s hard to talk about RainDance without immediately focusing on the RainDance River Resort. This huge 1.5 acre water resort is the largest water park in Northern Colorado according to the developers. Currently free for residents, this is not your average community pool here. We’re talking a lazy river. A water slide. And so much more!

Wonderland is building in RainDance as well. Wonderland currently has 4 single family spec homes available for purchase between $600,371 and $674,368 which will be completed over the next few months. If you’d like to wait and build/customize more, Wonderland has 7 different single family home options as well with more lots coming online.

RainDance is 2 miles east of I-25 in Windsor. Geographically it’s between Loveland, Greeley, and downtown Fort Collins, and it’s around an hour from downtown Denver or 30 minutes from north Denver.

Speaking of amenities, there’s also a lot of buzz surrounding RainDance’s under construction golf course, RainDance National Resort & Golf.

As a quick aside, if you’re interested in learning more about northern Colorado communities, Whitney Barnett on our team lives in Erie and is helping clients all over northern Colorado build and buy new homes. Her email is Whitney@Focus-Realtors.com if you’d like to learn more!

Wonderland is also building outside Timnath (close to Fort Collins). I mentioned Sterling Ranch above, and Wonderland built new homes for several years in this growing Littleton neighborhood next to the mountains. So there are also gorgeous resale options in south Denver that are only a few years old.

Check out the gorgeous Wonderland in the picture below, which we helped our clients sell in 2021 in Sterling Ranch.
