Would your Daughters be interested in “American Heritage Girls”?

Those of you who know me or have been reading my blog consistently know that I have three young daughters.  (8, 6 and 2 yrs old)  We know our kids are like sponges at this point and like most parents, we’re looking for character-building activities they can get participate in.

So from time to time I’ll share some of the good opportunities for activities and events that may appeal to those of you who also have young daughters.

American Heritage Girls (“AHG”) is one of those opportunities.  It’s a way to build purity, service, stewardship and integrity in your daughters.

Founded in 1995, AHG is a faith-based character development program for girls ages 5-18 dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. Girl members participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.  If that fits your family’s values and you want more information about AHG visit www.ahgonline.org.

American Heritage Girls Troop CO 1912 is located at Blessed Sacrament Parish, which is roughly 5 minutes outside of Stapleton.  Girls do not need to attend that parish to join and all girls are welcome.

I am not an expert in this program, it’s new to me and something we are considering with our daughters.  For location information please RSVP to Caroline, caroline@dvierow.com.  You can also reach out to Caroline if you have any additional questions about the program.
