What is David Weekley Homes building in Stapleton Now?
David Weekley Homes has been a popular builder among home buyers in Stapleton for years & they’re going to continue to serve the neighborhood with several homes series going forward.
Right now they are offering single family homes, paired homes and row homes. Here is the scoop on what they have available today,what they are building now & what’s coming in the near future in Stapleton!
David Weekley Homes “Cottages” Series:
The Cottages are David Weekley’s detached single family home collection. There aren’t a lot of single family detached homes in Stapleton in the high $400k’s to mid $500k’s so these have been very popular.
These homes offer 3-4 bedrooms and roughly 1,700 – 1,900 sf, not including the optional finished basements. The main levels have an open concept and some offer home offices. You’ll find 3 bedrooms upstairs on each plan, with the 4th bedroom in the basement if you choose to finish the basement. The homes have 2 car attached garages and small fenced side yards.
Bluff Lake:
These homes are currently being built in Stapleton’s Bluff Lake neighborhood (not familiar with this area – learn more here). In Bluff Lake the homes have a base price in the mid $400k’s and you can end up with a great home with a finished basement in the low $500k’s! (Here is their price sheet for their first release in Bluff Lake)
They have 42 total lots in Bluff Lake and they just recently started to release them. The buyers that move on these early will get the best locations within the Bluff Lake area. They are currently building their model in Bluff Lake but if you want to check out what it will be like you can go see their model home in Conservatory Green located at 7995 E 49th Pl Denver, CO 80238.
If you like these Bluff Lake homes they are available now to contract on and you’d probably have a completed home by summer 2017.
Beeler Park:
If Bluff Lake is not the spot for you then you’ll be able to purchase a Cottage plan in Beeler Park. The first release for the “Cottage- Prairie Home Collection” and “Paired Home Collection just happened. Here is the lot release info if you’re interested. There will be some differences in the standard inclusions and pricing when compared to the Bluff Lake homes.
Even if you missed the lots in the release above there will be more to come in these series as Beeler Park and the rest of that section builds out.
David Weekley Homes “Paired Homes” Collection:
In addition to the detached homes David Weekley is offering paired homes in Beeler Park. (note these will not be available in Bluff Lake). The paired homes series offer two story floor plans with square footage ranging from roughly 1,500 – 1,700 sf, not including the optional basements. Each paired home comes standard with an unfinished basement and a 2 car detached garage as well as a small fenced back yard. The main floor on all plans offers 10 ft ceilings and an open concept layout in the kitchen, informal dining area & family room. Upstairs you’ll find 2 bedrooms plus a loft or an optional 3rd bedroom in lieu of the loft space.
Here is information on the most recent lot release of paired homes in Beeler Park.
Because these homes aren’t released yet there are no online floor plans. They do have model homes of the previous version of this series so if you’re interested in these those would be worth checking out. The model is located at 7995 E 49th Pl Denver, CO 80238.
David Weekley Homes “Rows”:
David Weekley is in the midst of closing out their row homes in Stapleton. This final phase of this collection is located on the North side of Stapleton in Willow Park East along Valentia St. There are just 4 of these homes left, and these homes will not be built in Bluff Lake or Beeler Park. These are some of your last opportunities to have a new home in Willow Park East. At present, there are two “Siena” end units available; each offers a late March 2017 delivery. There are also two “Siena II” interior units available, one with a late March 2017 completion date and one with a late June 2017 completion date.
Each home offers a 3 story layout, an open concept design with 14 ft ceilings in the family room, as well as 10 ft ceilings in the kitchen and dining area!

Siena II (interior unit) Floor Plan
The Siena plan has a lot going for it. I love the fact that the main level is your garage, study and large mud room. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all very open on the second floor which will be popular. I also love that the master bedroom is in the back of the home on the second floor. It’s quiet and provides easy access to everything on the same level. Off the kitchen you have a good size patio, perfect for grilling or lounging. Up on the third level you’ll find two additional large bedrooms, each with their own private en suite bathrooms, and a laundry area.
Few more facts about this series. No basements. 2 car side by side garages (not tandems). No additional HOA, just the $40 master HOA which we all pay.
