What’s going on with David Weekley in the North End?

The long-anticipated release of David Weekley homes is upon us.  We are told they will be opening their sales office for the North End neighborhood near May 1.

David Weekley will have three options:  Cottages, paired homes, and one of my personal favorites, the row homes.

Row Homes

There will be two floor plans for the Row Homes.  The Sienna and Sienna II.  The plans themselves are very similar.  The Sienna is 2,292 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a study area on the first floor, and attached 2-car garage.  The Sienna II is just a smidge smaller at 2,059 square feet.  This home also has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, study area and attached 2-car garage.  These homes are expected to start in the high $400s and go up from there.

I am loving the street these homes will be on in the North End.  See the map below.  These homes will all be facing east along Elmira Street allowing for some potential awesome views.

Paired Homes

The La Plata Peak and the West Elk floor plans will be available in the North End.  Both of these floor plans can be seen in the first phase of North End as well as throughout Beeler Park.  I love the versatility of both of these plans.  Both plans allow for a basement (finished or unfinished), giving you the option of an extra bedroom and additional living space.

The La Plata Peak is 1,539 square feet and has the opportunity to have 4 bedrooms.  On the second level, you can choose to leave the loft space or convert this space into an extra bedroom if needed.

The West Elk is a little larger beginning at 1,617 square feet and also has the opportunity to have 4 bedrooms.  Both of these floor plans are expected to start in the high $400s as well.

Cottage Homes (Single Family)

And finally, the highly sought-after cottage homes!!  The cottage homes are single family homes ranging in size from 1,700 up to almost 1,900 square feet.  These homes will start in the high $500ks.

The Salida and the Mount Powell have floor plans that a lot of buyers are looking for these days.  On both of these plans, you can either keep the separate office space or convert it into a main floor bedroom which also converts the powder bath into a full bathroom!

As you can see on the map, the paired homes and the cottage homes will be intermixed on the same street.

Building and designing a David Weekley home is similar to other builders.  Once you decide what lot and what floor plan you would like, you then get to choose your structural options.  A few weeks after that, the design center process begins.  I love the options and choices David Weekley homes offer – but there are a lot of choices!

If you’re interested in learning more about the David Weekley homes coming soon to the North End, please reach out.  We’d love to keep you in the know and assist with the process (spoiler:  our services are completely FREE to you.  See this quick video that explains how we help in the process. 🙂 )
