One thing I’ve tried to take advantage of during this time at home are small and relatively inexpensive things I can do around my home to spruce it up. You know, the things you said you wanted to do when you first moved into your house but have never gotten to? Well, if you need something new to Google, here are some ideas for you to look up.
1) Fresh Paint (both interior and exterior). It’s truly amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do to any room.
2) Consider adding smart technology items. There seems to be a “smart” technology for just about every function in a home. Check out this blog for some additional ideas on smart home technology.
3) Update light fixtures. In my opinion, searching for that perfect light fixture is always something fun to look at!
4) Create the closet of your dreams. Whether it’s your master bedroom or your pantry closet, there are so many unique ideas out there for organization.
5) Change out door hardware and light switch plates. These small details can make a big improvement.
If you are thinking of maybe a larger project, such as a kitchen or bathroom remodel, we have a long list of qualified contractors who we have worked with and would be happy to recommend to you. Check out our Contractor’s Corner for our current list.
Now onto this week’s Real Estate Update.
Well, as you have probably noticed, the Stapleton market has slowed down significantly. However, here at Focus are being proactive by keeping our buyers and sellers informed on what is going on.

Some exciting news is there are several new build homes that will be ready to move into in May. One of these homes is a beautiful Thrive Vita Plan 3. Our Friday real estate updates are meant to be a “roundup” type post where we discuss all listings in Stapleton, not just our own. It’s our way of making sure we follow the market closely and we share it with the Scoop readers because we know many of you like to track real estate in the area as well. Many of the listings in these posts are not our company’s listings and we wanted to mention that here to make sure it’s clear. Thanks for reading the Scoop!
