9988 E 62nd Ave is available for rent for $3,695 per month

Curious about the 100,023 number below?

I’ll get to that in just a minute.

But first, you might’ve heard that the Federal Reserve increased rates again this week – this time to a 22 year high. It’s amazing to pause and think about what we were all up to 22 years ago. Where were you?

I was a junior in college, enjoying my time at Tulane University in New Orleans. I had a full class schedule during the day and worked at night.

Interest rates? Well, I couldn’t even begin to imagine a life 22 years in the future where interest rates would have a big impact on everything I do.

Re-focusing on today, it’s no secret that interest rates increases have had a big impact on Denver’s real estate market. Almost every metric our team at Focus Real Estate looks at suggests the market is “normalizing.”

Listings were down 20% this June compared to last June. Prices in June were down 2% prices relative to last June. And on.

So let’s get back to that 100,023 number. If you’ve ever been curious how many Facebook accounts the Central Park Scoop reaches, well, here’s your answer:

The Scoop reached 100,023 unique Facebook users over a recent 90 day period.

We think this is pretty amazing! (Also, this number excludes our websites, other Facebook and Instagram pages, our personal pages, and more. So this 100,023 number is really just the beginning.)

This Central Park home closed for $1,550,000 last week – after a strong social media campaign by our team!

Our team considers the Scoop a community resource, but we’re also proud that when we list and market homes on the Scoop we can honestly and realistically tell you that we can put your listing in front of thousands of additional people.

The MLS is a great resource, and Zillow and other sites are “must-haves” in our opinion for all real estate listings.

But in an ultra competitive, difficult selling market, a very strong social media game that puts your property in front of thousands of additional social media accounts is now a “must-have” as well.

Before we dive into the real estate update, I wanted to mention I’m hosting an open house for one of our favorite Central Park builders, David Weekley, this Saturday (7/29) from 12-3. Here’s the listing. This particular home is about 35 minutes south of Central Park in the new neighborhood of Macanta. The address is 3400 Carabiner Street, Castle Rock, Colorado. This home is on a 1/4 acre CORNER lot with huge views of canyons and open space and is listed by Dennis Schick at Remax Alliance.

Last but not least, here’s a featured rental our property management division here at Focus has available!

There’s a lot to love about this property, but my favorite part? Check out the cover photo on this blog post. That’s just a sample of the amazing views from the rooftop deck.
