This Week in Central Park Real Estate 7.23.21

5905 Beeler, with 4 beds/4 baths, is listed for $765,000

It’s been a busy week in Central Park real estate! Before we dive in, I wanted to pause on a few of our recent posts and videos here on the Scoop.

One blog post that caught my eye? Well, all you have to do is mention pools and I’m all in. Did you know Central Park is home to 7 pools each with its own unique flair (driving boards, lap lanes, slides, fountains, etc.). You can learn more here on the pools and their features and locations. If you want to avoid the pool scene, a splash pad or water feature may be the next best thing. You will find 6 water features throughout the CP neighborhood.

New Tattered Cover at Stanley Marketplace

Also, don’t miss Ashley Faller’s recent post and walk-through video of the new Tattered Cover kids bookstore at the Stanley Marketplace. The new concept from Tattered Cover focuses on books and non-book items for kids, creating an experience oriented toward children. The new store will host kid-friendly events and programming like birthday parties, children’s authors, story times, and more.

Downsizing can be a challenge

Stacy Grissom’s latest post on downsizing and how she’s helping her in-laws move out of their vacation home is a great read. There’s a lot of good information in Stacy’s post, and I found the auction section particularly interesting. Here’s a little snippet:

“We had Pacific Auction come out and this is probably the route we will take. They charge by the hour or per lot to catalog all the items, big, small, random or common. They said they would catalog tupperware and dishes, furniture, decor,  DVD’s, basically anything and everything … Once cataloged, they put it up in their system where people can browse and bid.”

Now, on to the real estate!

Disclaimer:

Our Friday real estate updates are meant to be a “roundup” type post where we discuss all listings in Central Park, not just our own.  It’s our way of making sure we follow the market closely and we share it with the Scoop readers because we know many of you like to track real estate in the area as well.  Many of the listings in these posts are not our company’s listings and we wanted to mention that here to make sure it’s clear. Thanks for reading the Scoop!
