Fall is in the air! As I’m writing this our kids are out on Fall break, the leaves outside my office window are turning red and orange, and we’re having our sprinklers blown out. It seems like just yesterday we were excited for our cold and rainy spring to end and getting ready for summer!
If you’re curious about fun Fall events around Denver, be sure to check out Rebecca Fawcett’s Fun Fall Festivities guide:
And since time (seemingly) moves faster and faster, it’s now time to start thinking about the winter – and ski season! Check out Lisa Palladino’s Ski Guide here:
Here’s a great little tip from Lisa as well:
“PRO TIP: If you have young kids, rent their gear each year through the Epic Mountain Sports Junior Trade program. As they outgrow their gear you trade it in for a discount. They also include one free trade out mid-season if needed. I just visited yesterday and scored awesome new skis and boots for my kids this season. Book now if you haven’t yet because it books a few weeks out.“
In case you missed it, the Scoop has been covering a lot of exciting new businesses and store opening announcements.
As just one example, Pearl Market is breaking ground in Denver’s Beeler Park neighborhood. Pearl Market plans to offer fresh produce, a coffee shop, milk & eggs, pasta, a pizzeria, and more!
Joe Phillips has all the details in his post here:

There are currently 69 active non-builder listings in Central Park. This is down a bit from last week when we ran numbers (72 active listings), but inventory remains robust with a lot of opportunities for buyers.
This week we saw 8 new non-builder listings and “coming soons” in the neighborhood.
As you can see, the number of new listings this week (8) is close to the number of homes that went under contract (7), so our overall inventory of resale homes available is about the same. Though the numbers have been fluctuating each week, this syncs with what we’ve been seeing the past month+ in Central Park – inventory is robust, and somewhere around 10% of homes go under contract each week.
Right now there are 7 homes that are pending (meaning they are under contract, but have not yet closed).
4 homes closed this past week.
Disclaimer: Our Friday real estate updates are meant to be a “roundup” type post where we discuss all listings in Central Park, not just our own. It’s our way of making sure we follow the market closely and we share it with the Scoop readers because we know many of you like to track real estate in the area as well. Many of the listings in these posts are not our company’s listings and we wanted to mention that here to make sure it’s clear.
