Did you know the Tattered Cover Book Store opened its first-ever children-focused concept at Aurora’s Stanley Marketplace a few weeks ago?
The new concept from Tattered Cover focuses on books and non-book items for kids, creating an experience oriented toward children. Kwame Spearman, CEO of Tattered Cover, said the new store will host kid-friendly events and programming like birthday parties, children’s authors, story times, and more.
“For the last 50 years, Tattered Cover has been a cornerstone of the Colorado community. With this brand new concept at Stanley Marketplace, we look forward to welcoming the next generation of readers,” Kwame said.
Ashley Faller of the Scoop recently met up with Kwame to chat about the new bookstore. Check out her interview and walk-through of Central Park’s latest kids’ spot here.
The 1,400-square-foot space was designed with children in mind, featuring kid-friendly shelving. Tattered Cover is currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary as Denver’s iconic independent bookstore as well, so no better time than now to visit and support Denver’s local iconic book store!
