Children’s-Focused “Tattered Cover” Bookstore Coming to Stanley this Summer
The team at Stanley Marketplace (2501 N. Dallas St., Aurora) is pleased to let you know that the Tattered Cover Book Store will debut its first-ever children’s-focused concept at Stanley this summer.
Joining the 50+ locally-owned, independent retailers, restaurants, services and businesses in the Stanley Marketplace community, the new Tattered Cover concept will focus on books and non-book items just for kids, creating an experience totally focused on children and including plans to host kid-friendly events and programming – think birthday parties, children’s authors, story times, and more. While the physical space will be focused on inspiring the littlest readers, the book selection will also include titles for older ages as well. Non-book items will also be available, including gifts for kids of all ages, toys, games, and more.
The 1,400-square-foot space is being designed with children in mind and plans to feature kid-friendly shelving, a centerpiece large mural and architectural elements that whimsically evoke the experience of getting lost in a story. Tattered Cover is currently sourcing a local artist to create the mural, which will cover the back wall and incorporate experiential decor that kids can interact with and enjoy.
