New Horizon Academy recently opened just south of I-70 on Central Park Boulevard

It’s been a busy summer on the childcare front here in Stapleton!  Between the opening of Tinker Town’s new drop-in childcare facility in Eastbridge, Beeler Park’s Prestige Preschool Academy , and now New Horizon Academy just south of I-70 next to the new Starbucks, Stapleton families now have more childcare options than ever.

New Horizon Academy, a family-owned and operated childcare provider, recently opened its second Colorado school here in Stapleton (9200 E. 40th Avenue).  Teachers at the new facility will care for and educate more than 180 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 10 years between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.  I know a lot of Stapleton parents are busy and need flexibility with schedules and drop-off and pick-up times, so I think it’s great news that another Stapleton daycare is now offering extended hours.

The school is conveniently located for both Northfield and south Stapleton families just a few hundred yards south of I-70 on Central Park Boulevard and features safe, well-equipped, and age-appropriate classrooms that are designed to enhance learning through play.  The school will also feature safe and unique outdoor play spaces for the children to enjoy.

“We believe that every child deserves the best care and early education,” said Chad Dunkley, CEO of New Horizon Academy. “We are thrilled to be able to provide the families of Colorado with our high-quality child care and early education programs.”

New Horizon also uses a technology I’ve come to love – daily and sometimes real-time, app-based information about your child’s day via smart phone, tablet, or e-mail.  My middle child is 3-years-old and when I ask him about his day at school, well, let’s just say he understandably can’t give me a lot of detail!  So I lean pretty heavily on the daily updates and pictures I receive from our current daycare provider and love reading about my son’s day!  Similarly, New Horizon’s Stapleton facility will use the Daily Connect software application to update parents on special moments, frequent updates, learning activities, and photos.  What a great way to stay connected!

New Horizon is a nationally recognized high-quality early learning provider with all of its eligible schools accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the gold standard in its industry.  The school’s mission is to provide the best child development on the planet, which I love to hear.

Welcome to Stapleton, New Horizon!
