Ed Moore Florist in South Park Hill has been a NE Denver staple since 1948. It originally opened as a greenhouse in 1930 and then the floral shop was added 18 years later. While the shop has changed hands a few times over the years, the shop has maintained a close-knit community of owners, employees and patrons.
Current owners Kendra Partrick and Karin Mosier were employees of the shop before purchasing it from the previous owner just last year. Fun fact: Ed Moore’s granddaughter is still a part-time floral designer for the shop.
In addition to gorgeous bouquets and flower arrangements for every occasion, Ed Moore Florist offers floral subscriptions, workshops, DIY private parties and specialty gifts from other Colorado based, women owned, businesses like Roberta’s Chocolates in West Denver, The Soap Shop in Idaho Springs and The Cottage Greenhouse products from Margot Elena in Centennial.
They’re offering a 15% discount to Scoop readers until the end of 2022. For online orders, enter code CPSCOOP and, for in-store purchases, simply mention the Central Park Scoop at checkout. The discount doesn’t apply to phone orders, subscription services or online specials.
