The days are starting to get a little longer, so you know what time it is!? It’s time to spend a small fortune on summer camps! Every year I like to gather as much information as I can about area camps to send my 9-year-old son to. It’s also fun looking at what options there are these days for summer camps (I’m dating myself, but I’m sure you all understand what I’m saying!).
I put together this downloadable PDF with summer camp options and details in the area. As with pretty much everything in 2020 and now into 2021, summer camps look a little different. You will notice on this list there are still some camps that are TBD. There’s a variety of reasons why a lot of camps aren’t fully online yet – mostly due to Covid safety guidelines all the camps must follow, but all of these camps seem to be implementing their own stricter guidelines to protect everyone, which is awesome to see!
Recently, I met with Lauren Howe of Curious Jane to learn more about the Curious Jane program and dive more into what their summer camp will look like (click HERE to see that interview).
Joe met with Angie Peluse with Camp Galileoa a few weeks back to learn more about their summer camp offerings. You can see that interview HERE.
Most of these camps are geared towards elementary-aged kiddos, but I would love to add more options for preschoolers as well as teenagers.
This list in not all-inclusive. As I find out about more camps, they will be added ASAP, so check back often for additional options. If you know of a camp that should be added, please send me an e-mail to email@example.com and I will be sure to add it to the list ASAP.
Cheers to a great summer!
