Goldfish Swim School recently reopened and we stopped by to check out their new safety protocols. They have put a lot of thought into how to reopen safely for families and staff. We’ll be announcing the winners on Monday, 7/13. Here are a few takeaways from our tour:
- Stay in your car until 5 min before class (signs outside indicating when its OK to enter)
- Students should come dressed in their swimsuits
- Sanitation Station inside the door
- Masks required for parents, staff, and participants while outside the pool
- Limit one parent per family
- Plexi glass partition at front desk
- Every other lane utilized for social distancing
- Instructors wearing face masks
- Smaller class sizes
- No shared toys
- No face-to-face end of class communication with instructors (other communication options)
- One flow of traffic through the building
