We’re Bringing Thousands of Burgers to Stanley on August 1
If you love burgers then we are pretty sure you’re going to love our next big event in the field at Stanley. It’s called Denver Burger Battle, and that’s exactly what it is – a battle to determine who makes the best burger in the greater Denver area.
This is the first year Stanley has hosted the Denver Burger Battle, and it’s a great fit for us. It’s food-focused and a lot of fun, and it also gives guests a chance to meet and mingle with the people behind some of the city’s best burgers. One of our favorite parts of events like this is having a conversation with the chefs of places we love. But even more than that — we love eating so much delicious food in one night!
This year’s competition includes burgers from reigning champions Hearth & Dram, the 2018 peoples’ choice winner, and our very own Stanley Beer Hall, who won judges’ choice for best burger in 2018 and in 2017. Other participants include Park Burger, The Way Back, The Cherry Cricket, Highland Tap & Burger, and newcomers (to the contest) LeRoux, Steuben’s, and Sugarfire Smoke House. From Denver Burger Battle director Jason Ornstein: “When this event was created a decade ago, we were really just looking for a fun, creative event to allow some of the city’s best chefs to get together, create a damn good burger, and get facetime with their guests in a unique environment. Year after year, it’s proven to be a fan favorite. It’s truly a premium burger contest and all of our chefs are bringing their A-game.”
