This Week in Central Park Real Estate 6.2.23

Happy Friday everyone! Countless Instagram videos featured Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out” this week, and for good reason… DPS is officially on summer break! Hope everyone has a fun and safe summer with family and friends. Before jumping into Real Estate, I want to highlight some cherished events that start this weekend:

First off, the pools begin their regular summer hours this weekend. Full schedules for all the neighborhood pools can be found here.

Concerts on the Green (Founder’s/South Green at 29th Ave & Roslyn) – This neighborhood favorite kicks off tomorrow, Saturday June 3rd with Darling Revival. Concerts are 6:00pm-8:00pm every other Saturday through the end of July. Food trucks will be there to provide delicious food during the shows.

MoJaBlu Concert Series (North Green at E 49th Place & Valentia St) – Every Thursday from 6:30pm-8:30pm through the end of July. First up next week is One on One Motown Review. Food trucks will be on site.

Outdoor Movie Series (Founder’s/South Green at 29th Ave & Roslyn) – Grab your blankets, chairs, and picnic dinners, and find your spot before the show begins at dusk. The first movie, on Friday June 9th is Lightyear. Follow the link above to see the rest of the summer movie schedule.

Yoga on the Rocks – Enjoy yoga in one of the most famous venues in the country every Saturday morning at 7:00am (June 3rd – August 12th). There are no drop-in sales at the door, so get your tickets ahead of time at the link above. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver available at the venue.

City Park Jazz Concerts – Every Sunday 6:00pm-8:00pm (June 4th – August 6th) at the City Park bandshell. This Sunday, enjoy original music and cover songs from Sarah Mount and the Rushmores; an improv-driven hard funk and neo-soul group.
