What’s New at Stanley Marketplace in February

Oh hey everybody!

This is Bryant from Stanley Marketplace, and I’m happy to share with you the latest and greatest from our little project over on Dallas Street.

First off, we’re very excited about our Valentine’s Soirée this weekend, on Friday, February 10, from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, February 11, from 12 to 8 p.m. This is a pop-up market featuring 30+ local craft vendors, a photo booth, a kissing booth, specialty cocktails, a dance floor, and live music and swing dance demos on Saturday night. We’re hoping this is the perfect place to shop for your loved ones and celebrate with them.

All 20 of our open businesses will be open for Valentine’s Day, too, which we hope makes Stanley your one-stop shop for all your Valentine’s needs. Poppy & Pine will have tons of extra arrangements and Miette et Chocolat is preparing some special grab-and-go boxes of their delicious treats. Our friends at Enshin Karate are planning a Parents Night Out in The Hangar on February 14, so you can enjoy a romantic dinner (or at least a delicious one, if romance isn’t your thing), while the kiddos play.

Our Valentine’s Day gift to you, and the universe, is an especially good one, we think: Denver Biscuit Co. officially opens their doors on February 14, and will be open daily after then.

In non-Valentine’s news, we’ve got many new businesses to welcome to the Stanley Family lately. Annette has officially opened near the southeast entrance. Launched by young superstar chef Caroline Glover, Annette offers outstanding wood-fired fare. (They opened Saturday and I’ve already eaten there three times.) Annette is a terrific choice for date night, but they’re also open for lunch and brunch most days. Here’s a sneak peek of their menu.

The past week has seen the opening of a few new retailers, too:

Goose & the Goat, a shoes and accessories shop for women and men and children

Trunk Nouveau, a gift shop celebrating local artists

Steele Angel, a trendy boutique with a stylish selection

Be on the lookout for Velvet Wolf, smack in between Stanley Beer Hall and Cheluna Brewing, in the next six or seven days.

Our very latest business to open is Belly Bliss, on the mezzanine level just up the stairs from Logan House Coffee Co. The second location of a beloved Cherry Creek studio, Belly Bliss offers lots of classes and services as a premier center for pregnancy and motherhood.

Last but certainly not least, we are counting down the days until March 18, which is opening night for a unique theatrical experience called “Travelers of the Lost Dimension,” which is being produced by Denver Center for the Performing Arts’ Off-Center in the public spaces at Stanley. The show runs for about six weeks, and the tickets are moving quickly. More info here.  It’s a family friendly show that takes place throughout the public spaces at Stanley, so this is much more of an interactive, let’s-have-an-adventure than a let’s-sit-and-watch experience.

Stay tuned for another update soon. We’ve got at least one new business opening per week for the next couple of months. Thanks to all of you who’ve joined us thus far and supported our collection of local and independent businesses. We’re thrilled to (finally!) be open and excited for great things ahead.
