Get Excited! Snow has fallen on the peaks in Summit County and Ski Season is coming very soon. Here is your guide to prepare yourself for an amazing 2022/2023 season.
1. Pick your pass
Colorado has some of the best skiing in the country! There are 2 main ski passes to choose from, Ikon or Epic. Each have different mountains and perks to offer so choose what works best for you. If you’re only going to make it up the hill a couple of days, check out your favorite mountain’s 4-pack tickets.
2. Opening Dates
Pray for snow! All dates can change based on weather, check https://www.onthesnow.com/united-states/projected-openings for more mountains and updates.
3. Prepare your gear
Make sure to get your skis and snowboards fully tuned for the season. Clean all the dust off from being in storage, sharpen your edges, and give them a good wax. If you don’t have the equipment or skills to do this at home, you can take your gear into the following places for a full tune:
