New Developments in Westerly Creek Village (NW Aurora)

Hard to believe, but we’ve now been running Progress Coworking over in NW Aurora for almost 9 years now!  Located just a block from Stanley Marketplace, we’ve had a chance to see Stanley continue to develop, and in the last year or so we’ve started to witness so many other new projects coming out of the ground.  In this post we’ll highlight some of the new developments going on in this NW Aurora area, which if you’re not aware is known as “Westerly Creek Village”.  At the end of the post we’ll tell you a bit more about Progress and why you may want to check it out if you’re in the market for a coworking space. 

Judi’s House

A few blocks to the NE, Judi’s House has a brand new, beautiful 27 sqft facility that just recently opened. Judi’s House has been offering grief support to children and families for 20 years. You can see some pics of the new space here. The new facility will be a huge blessing for families with kids who are grieving a loss. There are also great volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved, which you can find on their website.

Second Dawn Brewing

A new brewery is moving in right next door to Progress. Second Dawn Brewing is converting the old auto body shop next door and plans to create an environment of inclusiveness. They aim to give people the opportunity to drink a variety of beverages in an environment that encourages people to sit and relax and enjoy the space—the way they want to experience it. Stanley House Apartments

Stanley House is a new, 168-unit, luxury apartment complex right outside Stanley Marketplace. The two buildings are currently under construction but nearing completion. They will offer pet-friendly studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments with amenities such as a resident lounge, fitness center, and bark park.

Alexan Westerly Creek Apartments

The Alexan Westerly Creek apartments, located just to the South of Stanley Marketplace, are now open and leasing! Their first building is complete and 40 residents are in so far. They have apartments ranging from studios for $1,500 to 3 bedroom apartments for ~ $3,300 with lots of options in between. Their community-wide amenities are designed to enhance your sense of well-being as well as your desire to connect with others.
