Ever since Wax Trax opened a kiosk at the Stanley back in 2024, it always just felt wrong to walk past without at least flipping through the stacks of vinyl and feeling a rush of nostalgia, new discovery, or both. And now, the location—Wax Trax’s fourth in the Denver area and their first in Aurora—is getting a bigger, more permanent location at the Stanley.
The new 1,000-foot space next to Zero Market will give them the room to triple their vinyl collection as well as expand their cassette and CD collections—yes, fellow 70s, 80s and 90s kids, we can relive our youth! They’ll also be able to do in-store events with band performances and DJs and they’ll even start buying used music and stereo equipment.
Stop by on July 18 between 10am and 9pm for the grand opening celebration—there’ll be music performances from 12pm to 3pm, concert ticket giveaways, free tote bags for the first 100 customers, and more. Check out their Instagram and events page for more details.
It’s such a perfect fit for the Stanley—we love to see businesses that bring unique, artistic vibes to our Central Park community thrive!
