Fun Fall Festivities (2023 Edition)
The fall equinox is here and it’s time to welcome the cooler weather, crisp autumn air and get out to have some fun! The warm days make it hard to believe it’s October, but these fall evenings are AMAZING!! A hike through golden aspens, a pumpkin patch, and Glow at the Gardens are staples in our household each year. Halloween will be here before we know it so check a handful of fun things off your list over the next few weeks with a easy guide to local fun below!
FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Wild Fall and Trick-or-Treat Trail at the Denver Zoo
Where: Denver Zoo
When: September 29- October 31
Festive, not frightening! Family-focused daytime “falloween” spectacular, pumpkin carving, animal demos, spooky cocktails and autumnal eats, Bigfoot sightings.

Magic of Jack O’Lanterns

Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns is perfect for all ages. Walk along a glowing trail of over 7,000 magnificent, hand-carved pumpkins!
Northfield’s Candy Crawl
Where: The Shops at Northfield

FREE annual family-friendly, Halloween event. Enjoy trick-or-treating participating retailers, hay rides, crafts, thriller dancers, giveaways, contests, and more! Meet and greet with the DPD and Fire Department! Visit the Pharoah’s Car Show’s spooky trunk or treat! Take pictures with the amazing Ghostbuster and Morningside Hearses and experience The Curiosity Cruiser, “Museum on Wheels” from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science! Glow at the Gardens
Where: Denver Botanical Gardens
When: October 17-22, 6pm-9pm
Using all real pumpkins harvested from local farms, check out pumpkin artists pushing the boundaries of traditional pumpkin carving!
Final Central Park Farmer’s Market of 2023 & Pumpkin Patch
Where: Founders Green
When: October 8
Final farmers market of 2023 and pumpkin patch for family fun at Founders Green! Shoppers will receive a coupon for every $5 spend at the vendors’ booths. Coupons can be redeemed for a free pumpkin.
Pro Tip: This is a great time to start planning your holiday gifts from the local vendors!
The bRUNch Run 5K /10K
Where: Central Park

The bRUNch Run ™ 5k / 10k is back on Sunday, October 8 in Denver, Colorado benefiting Metro Caring. Strollers and dogs welcome! Treat yourself to a fun swag bag and delicious breakfast afterwards.
Anderson Farms Fall Festival

Stanley Marketplace Fall Festival

Denver Symphony’s Halloween Spooktacular!

This ghastly good time is a family-favorite concert featuring music from films, television, and more! Costumes are encouraged and even the musicians get in on the festivities!

Our own neighborhood’s beloved Wicker Manor has taken it up a knotch! They are contenders for the 2023 season of ABC’s Great Halloween Fright Fight. With the increase in popularity, Wicker Manor has moved to a new location this year. Stay tuned for updates!
