David Weekley Homes New Builds Available Now in Central Park!

Curious about what David Weekley Homes has available in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood? Here’s the scoop… including details on pricing, lot maps, and details on which of these new build homes you can buy right now!

If you’re looking for a new build single family home, paired home or row home in “North End”, Central Park’s last neighborhood, read on because they have homes available now and more coming soon.  It could be a great option if you’re sick of bidding wars in the resale market! (Oh and if you’re dead set on a resale this video by Ashley Faller will help!)

Below we’ll cover each of David Weekley’s three home series individually.  But before that I want to mention a few things about David Weekley’s homes in Central Park that apply to all 3 home series.

First, all the homes that they’ll be selling in North End will have finished basements.  That’s huge!  As anyone who has tried to hire a contractor lately knows, it is hard to get jobs done and it’s very expensive!  (How expensive?  Here is a Youtube video by Kailee Ackerman from our team explaining how much it costs to finish a basement in Central Park)  So I love that on 100% of these North End homes the basement will be finished.  Why not have it finished from day 1 and have it under warranty like the rest of your home?

Second, all selections have already been made on all of the homes.  That includes which floor plan will go on which lot, the structural selections (which are things like is there a fireplace, is the office enclosed, etc) and design center selections (meaning things like cabinets, carpet, tiles, etc).  We see some pros and cons with this approach of having the builder pick everything out in advance.  The pros?  The process is very simple (no decision stress!), it’s much quicker because the builder can submit for permits without waiting for the buyer to make decisions and the buyer gets to know their all in price on day 1.  That’s really helpful!  The cons?  You may not like everything that the builder picked out, and designing your own home can be a rewarding process.  Whether this is good or bad for you is up to you.  We just want you to know upfront that everything is picked out on these homes before we get too far.  To me it’s a little like buying a resale home (where you also don’t get to pick anything out) but it’s brand new, you’re not in bidding wars and you get a home warranty!  So I think it’s worth exploring.

Ok, let’s jump into some more info about what’s available in each of their home series.

David Weekly Homes “Cottage Homes”:

Let’s start with the Cottage Homes.  The Cottages are David Weekley’s single family home series.  In this series you’ll find homes that feature roughly 2,500 finished sq ft, 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.  The homes typically feature 3 bedrooms upstairs, an open concept main level and a finished basement with a family room, 4th bedroom and full bathroom.  They also include 2 car garages and side yards.

The homes are priced in the upper $700k’s, ranging from $761k – $785k.

The series features 3 floorplans, the Graham Peak, the Mount Powell and the Salida.  See all 3 floorplans.

Like what you see with the floorplans?  Good, because they have 6 of these Cottages available right now!  They have two “Salida” plans (a long time best seller!), two “Mount Powell” plans and two “Graham Peak” plans.  (Quick tip:  If you’re like most of our buyers and you need an enclosed home office you may want to focus on the Salida or Mount Powell plans.)  Here are the details on what’s included on each of the 6 available homes in this series.  And here is a map showing you the location of each of these lots within North End.  (Next to each description of the homes you’ll see a lot number that corresponds to a lot on the map.)

When will these 6 homes above be completed?  It varies by plan, but the ballpark is some will be done by Summer/early Fall 2022 and others will be later in 2022.

David Weekley “Paired Homes”:

The next series we’re going to tell you about is the paired home series.

Before we do that… you’ve read this far… you must be actively looking for a home or you may be spending too much time reading random articles online!  If you are indeed in the market I just want to take a second to tell you at Focus Real Estate we are here to help.  We serve buyers as their Buyer’s Agent, whether they want to build new or buy a resale.  We’re paid by the seller, not the buyer, and Central Park is what we do!  So we’d love to help and my contact info is below the post.  Not ready to chat but want more info? Here is our Central Park Scoop Youtube channel we put together just for you, the person that’s moving to the neighborhood.  It’s chalk full of info a person that’s new the area may find valuable.  Ok… shameless plug over… back to the information you’re looking for!

The paired homes are one of David Weekley’s attached home series.  In this series you’ll find homes that feature roughly 2,200 -2,300 finished sq ft, 3-4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.  The homes typically feature 2-3 bedrooms upstairs (If you do 2 beds you can get a loft!), an open concept main level and a finished basement with a family room, potential 4th bedroom and full bathroom.  They also include 2 car garages and side yards.

The homes are priced in the upper $600k’s, ranging from $632k – $654k.  (Remember, these are the all in prices, not the starting prices)

The series features 2 floorplans, the La Plata Peak and the West Elk. See both floor plans here

If you’re interested in these they have 7 of these paired homes available right now!  They have 3 “La Plata Peak” plans and 4 “West Elk” plans. Here are the details on what’s included on each of the 6 available homes in this series.  And here is the map showing you the location of each of these lots within North End. (Next to each description of the homes you’ll see a lot number that corresponds to a lot on the map.)

When will these 7 homes above be completed?  Similar to the Cottage homes above, it varies by plan but the ballpark is some will be done by Summer/early Fall 2022 and others will be later in 2022.

David Weekley Row Homes:

At this point they do not have any Row homes released for sale, but they will have some coming fairly soon.  So we’ll put a pin in this for now and get you info as it becomes available.
