As we all know, Stapleton has some pretty awesome features – but perhaps one of the most special features is our neighbor, Anschutz Medical Campus. Nationally ranked, world-class adult and child health care, along with cutting edge research and innovation are all in our backyard and always there when we need it. Prior to my real estate career, I had the great fortune of working at Children’s Hospital Colorado for over 7 years and saw firsthand the groundbreaking and lifesaving work that our health professionals do every day. University of Colorado and Children’s Hospital Colorado physicians and staff work together everyday to provide the highest level of care and safety for families – but did you know that they are also responsible for:
– Discovery of toxic shock syndrome (TSS)
– The first newborn screening program for cystic fibrosis in the U.S.
– The development and licensure of a new shingles vaccine
– Identifying changes in genes that cause children to develop acute lymphoblastic leukemia, the most common form of pediatric cancer

Children’s Hospital Colorado is not only near and dear to my heart, but it is an incredible resource for our community’s children.
