A Neighborhood Family’s Fight against Colorectal Cancer and How You Can Make an Impact

Like all cancers, colorectal cancer is a devastating disease that is often not discovered until it reaches an advanced stage. While it used to primarily affect the geriatric population, younger and younger patients across the country are being diagnosed every year. See how this disease is impacting a family right here in Central Park in this short video.

Ryan Warner – Colorado Matters

The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is working hard to raise awareness and change the odds for patients and their families. Advocating for access to screenings and colonoscopies, funding grants and research in young-onset colorectal cancer, immunotherapy, biomarkers and clinical trials, and providing resources and support to patients and their families and caregivers.

The Blue Hope Bash is part of a premier fundraising series by the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. Enjoy a night of cocktails, dinner, dancing, an auction and casino games. Prominent guest speakers will discuss current topics related to colorectal cancer and research. Prizes from the auction include a special Maroon 5 giveaway, opera tickets with cast meet and greet, vacations stays and more! Also, the MC will be Ryan Warner from Colorado Matters on Colorado Public Radio, whose family has been touched by this disease.
