What is Camp Galileo?
Camp Galileo was started last summer by Central Park parents Angie Peluse and Abbey Esposito. Camp Galileo is an innovation camp that uses STEAM activities to help campers grow, think differently, and be scientists. The camp uses the Galileo Innovation Approach — a three-step approach developed over the past 17 years, which focuses on Mindset, Process, and Knowledge.
When and Where?
Camp Galileo is offering 7 weeks of camp from 6/14 – 7/30, with three different themes.
Toy Makers (weeks of 6/14, 7/5, 7/26)
National Parks (weeks of 6/21, 7/12)
Galileo Olympics (weeks of 6/28 and 7/19)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm with optional after care until 6pm
Location: The specific location in TBD, but it will be south of I-70 in the Central Park neighborhood.
