Jeff & Marissa were faced with the difficult and often emotional process of selling the home of a loved one who passed away unexpectedly. Joe was happy to help navigate the process which had the added challenge of finding a buyer who would qualify for an income restricted property.  The sale was resolved quickly and smoothly, which we hope took a little bit of stress off the seller’s already full plate.

“I want to add a category, integrity. Joe gets a 5 star for integrity, too. My father in law passed away late last year and we had to sell his affordable housing condo early this year. We went with Joe and started the process. We found a buyer, had my father in law’s renter move out and got ready to close. If you are aware of the situation in Denver with Affordable Housing as of Jan 1, you know it got a lot harder to approve buyers. Joe could have very easily thrown his hands up in the air and said: “the city changed all the rules, I’m sorry”. Instead, he did not take a commission so the buyer would still qualify. He knew we had moved out our renter, so he did all of this work for free. This is a really smart, honest, nice guy. You can’t go wrong using Focus Real Estate & Joe Phillips!” – Jeff M. & Marissa M.
