Oh hey everybody!
We’ve got two events this month at Stanley we’d love to share with you, both in the middle of the month and both worthy of consideration (if we do say so ourselves).
First, we’re launching a new monthly comedy show at Stanley! It’s called Charlie Foxtrot, and it will take place on the third Wednesday of each month in the community area, starting at 8PM. The first launch is on Wednesday, January 16. Bring your neighbors, bring your friends, bring your college roommate, even bring your boss, but leave the kiddos at home for this one, unless you want your kiddos to enjoy some adult themes and content from adult comedians talking about adult-ish things. Our host is Meghan DePonceau and the first month’s line-up will be full of laughs courtesy of comedians Mike Stanley, Andie Main, and Jeremy Pysher. Details here.
Next up, we have a fantastic date night for you! It’s the 4th Annual Speakeasy Soiree on January 19th in The Hangar at Stanley. This swingin’ party benefits The Colorado Teen Project, a non-profit supporting foster kids as they age out of the system. The festivities will include live music, vintage vendors, bars and booze, food trucks, dance lessons, and an aerialist performance. It’s a great excuse to put on a flapper dress or your favorite outfit from that Cherry Poppin’ Daddies concert you attended back in 1998 or, even better, whatever you wore to “The Wild Party” in The Hangar if you saw that immersive show here in October 2017.
