Get ready, because something extraordinary is teeing up at Stanley Marketplace in the next month! (late May/early June). “The Local Drive”, Colorado’s premier multi-level indoor golf facility and cocktail bar experience, is preparing to open its doors in the iconic Hangar.  It’s poised to become a vibrant new hub for the entire community-not just golf enthusiasts.

I stopped by today to get “the Scoop” from one of the owners, Winston.  He was nice enough to give me  a tour of the space and you can see those tours on our Central Park Scoop Youtube channel, Facebook page and Instagram channel.  I can’t wait for you to see it yourself so you can see all the attention and detail they’re putting into every nook and cranny of the massive space.

The Local Drive isn’t just another sports bar or golf simulator spot. It’s an “eatertainment” experience that blends the thrill of championship golf with the energy of a high-end lounge and the warmth of a neighborhood gathering place. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer, a curious newcomer, or simply looking for a unique place to unwind with friends, The Local Drive promises something for everyone.  The space is beautiful and I see it being a hang out spot for all.  (Examples of why it’s not just golfers…slide open the massive airplane door hangar doors and you’ll find an awesome sand volleyball court with mountain views and a stager for multiple days of live music per week!)

  • Golf Like Never Before:
    • With 12 Trackman-powered bays-the most advanced launch monitor technology in the world-you can play over 300 legendary courses, including iconic PGA Tour stops. Games and challenges are tailored for all skill levels, from beginners to pros, with Srixon demo clubs available for rent and professional services like fittings and lessons with an in-house PGA pro.

  • Elevate Your Social Game:
    • The venue features two full-service cocktail bars indoors and a third “coming soon” bar on the outdoor patio, all serving premium spirits from Colorado’s finest distilleries. Non-golfers can enjoy bar games, live music on the outdoor stage, enjoy the sand volleyball court or just lounge and enjoy the ambiance of a vibrant lounge.

  • Shop & Compete:
    • Browse the latest gear at the in-house ParHopper golf apparel store, join monthly leagues, or take advantage of flexible membership options. The Local Drive is designed to be a year-round destination for play, relaxation, and community connection.

Looking for a show-stopping venue for your next company or social event? The Local Drive’s historic hangar space offers over 10,000 square feet of indoor space and 8,500 square feet of patio with panoramic mountain views is the perfect spot. The original 20-foot-tall hangar doors and modern amenities create a truly memorable setting for:

  • Team outings
  • Social or networking events
  • Holiday parties
  • Corporate gatherings
  • Big celebrations of any kind

With a speakeasy-style private bay, top-notch amenities, and a team dedicated to making your event unforgettable, The Local Drive is set to become Aurora’s go-to spot for both business and pleasure.

For private event inquiries, contact GM Ryan McDermott at [email protected].

Golfers and socialites alike can take advantage of The Local Drive’s flexible membership options:

  • Monthly Membership: $249/month
  • 6-Month Membership: $1,150
  • 12-Month Membership: $2,300

I love the idea of a membership, especially during the winter months when getting in some swings isn’t easy.  No contract required so you can turn it on for those winter months and then get back out on the course in the warm months.  Membership perks include 90 minutes of free play per day (with discounted guest rates), reduced hourly rates, 10% off leagues and merchandise, a free consultation with the PGA pro, and discounts on lessons-all with no long-term contract required.

The Local Drive’s arrival at Stanley Marketplace is more than just a new business opening-it’s a major boost for the local community. As Ally Fredeen, GM of Stanley Marketplace, puts it, “Experience is everything. And so having that entertainment driver is something that we don’t have right now. I really think they’re going to round out the Stanley Marketplace experience by offering that entertainment option”.  One example of how this new asset with connect well with the overall Stanley Marketplace?  You can order food from the restaurants in Stanley from Local Drive then pop over and grab it to bring it in and eat while you golf or lounge!

With over 50 independently owned businesses already calling Stanley Marketplace home, The Local Drive will add a unique, inclusive, and dynamic new layer to the neighborhood’s social and recreational landscape.  Welcome Winston, the whole Local Drive team and thanks for showing me around!  See you soon!
