Life Time Fitness Coming to Shops at Northfield!
So what’s new and coming soon to Central Park?

This one is really exciting! Life Time Fitness has filed their plans with the City of Denver to take over the JC Penny space that is closing at the Shops at Northfield. It seems logical that Central Park and the surrounding area could support a large, high-end gym (or “athletic country club” as their website calls it) like Life Time Fitness. I’ve admittedly never been to a Life Time Fitness, but I’ve heard so many good things from friends that have. When is this coming? Not sure. It’s not on their website yet as a coming soon location and I’m sure the process of building out the space will take a long time. More info to come on this one as it develops.
Whole Foods Opening a Central Park Location

You’ve probably heard the rumors, but Central Park is getting a Whole Foods location! It’s going to be located just South of I-70 along Central Park Blvd. This recent post from us on our Central Park Scoop Instagram gives you more details!
Nana’s Dim Sum & Dumplings opens Central Park location!

Not all of the new restaurants and businesses are massive, some are smaller “mom and pop” types…which we love! Nana’s opened for business last week and I had the chance to go try it out. Amazing! The green beans and the pork bao buns were the table favorites. (I know green beans is a weird thing to recommend…but I promise you’ll love them!) They offer delicious, shareable plates and they’re located just to the South of Stanley Marketplace in NW Aurora. You can learn more in this Central Park Scoop blog post or in this quick video with one of the owners. Here it their website.
Dutch Bros Coffee Opening Soon in Northfield!

The new Dutch Bros Coffee is coming along on 46th Ave near the shops at Northfield! Dutch Bros seems to have a very passionate customer base that’s excited to have in the neighborhood. From what I read online they’re looking forward to opening in Summer 2025. Just in time for a nice, ice cold delicious drink on the way to the pool!
Andy’s Frozen Custard Now Open!

Andys’ just opened at 9111 E 40th Ave, just South of I-70 next to the Quicktrip. It looks delicious and I’m shocked I haven’t been there yet. (That may happen tonight) One of our teammates popped by though and put together this quick Reel.
Mile Hi Pickleball Open and Killing it In Central Park!

This business, owned and operated by longtime residents Tricia and Brent Houston, has been open for a while, but I still wanted to include it. Since they’ve opened, they’ve been doing really well and we love playing there. They offer open play, leagues, lessons and more. Plus, they’re always organizing events and charity causes that help others. They really do more than pickleball, they bring a lot of people together and build community. Learn more or sign up to play on their website!
Go Church Grand Opening of their new Central Park Church on Easter!

Our friends Nick and Becky Callaway, along with their congregation, have been pouring their heart and soul into their brand new church building…and it’s almost done! The new facility, which is located in the Runway 35 development just to the East of the Shops at Northfield, will provide the church with all the room they’ve been dreaming of for years. It’s so exciting to see it all coming together. All are welcome at the Easter grand opening event, whether you’re a long time church goer or you’ve never been. I promise Nick will bring an inspiring message and Becky will have you moved by her singing. That event is April 20th at 10AM at the new church which is located at 8838 E 46th Ave. Curious about Go Churh? See their website for more info!

Peach Cobbler Factory Now Open

Peach cobbler fan? Who isn’t? Well did you know we now have a “factory” making it right in Central Park? When you have that craving you now have a go to place in the Shops at Northfield for satisfying it!I brought home a variety of cobblers the other night and they were all gone pretty much instantly. Good stuff! They’re located right next to the movie theater in Northfield at 8286 Northfield Blvd #1515. Cobblers, cookies, shakes, banana pudding, here is a peek at their delicious menu!
“Concourse K” Gym Open – A New Way To Workout You May Love!

Have you heard of Concourse K or “EMS” workouts in general? If you read the paragraph above about the Peach Cobbler Factory or the one above that about Cracker Barrel…you may need something to offset the damage you’ll do there…so Concourse K could be for you! Owner Keith Montoya and his team welcomed me to try a workout class and you can learn more about that in this video. If you want more of a tour of the space check out this one. This blog post also has more info. I really enjoyed the class and I have not been that sore in a long time!

They also have coffee, espresso drinks and a cozy mom and pop vibe. If you like unique, off the beaten paths and value a craftsman at work…go see Eric! Learn more on The Baking Room website.
