Mici Italian’s Central Park location has been here longer than I have (and trust me, that’s a long time). You’ve probably been there, but if you haven’t, the reason it’s a local favorite is the incredible pizza and pasta. The food is great to-go (we get Mici Molto Carne or Caprarola pizza at Progress Coworking the first Monday of every month; people come running when they see those boxes arrive). But Mici isn’t just a takeout spot—the co-owners, local parents Jeff and Marissa Miceli, just updated the Central Park menu and finished a gorgeous refresh of the interior of the location. It’s worth sitting down for!

After the renovation, they were left with a blank wall by the register where the menu used to be posted. Rather than remove the wall, they decided to use it to celebrate their customers. The wall will feature photos that people send in of their “Mici Moment,” capturing a time they were enjoying food from Mici. And best of all, the first 50 people to submit their photos get two “pick-two” meals free: So that means you and your spouse, kid, or friend each could choose any two half portions of pizza, pasta, soup, or salad. I tried the rich, chunky pomodoro soup and the rucola salad, packed with dried figs and goat cheese—both delicious. Check it out now and be among the first 50 to earn your free meal and support Mici!

The fine print: The first 50 people to email a Mici Moment photo to micimoments@miciitalian.com will receive one free Pick 2 menu meal each for you and one guest (valued up to $43.95). Photo submissions are due by October 17, 2025.

Enjoy!
