Have you ever walked into a gym full of people with rippling six packs, lifting intimidating amounts of weight and thought to yourself, “I SO do not fit in here”?
Entrepreneurship can feel just as overwhelming. Do you find yourself playing the comparison game, questioning whether you have what it takes to keep going? Especially when you look around Central Park where there is no shortage of hard-working professionals running incredible, thriving businesses!
Good news: This feeling is SO normal.
Here’s what you can do:
- Cut yourself some slack. Running a business is rewarding and hard, often at the same time.
- Put in the reps – this is a long game. You aren’t going to wake up one morning and decide to become an Olympic athlete by the end of the week – same holds true for your business.
- Find your people. Maybe the gym full rippling six-packs isn’t your scene. Surround yourself with a crew who will cheer you on, motivate you and remind you that you CAN do hard things – this is no different!
💪 Coach’s Cue: Write down three things you did this month that challenged you. Personally or professionally. Keep this list somewhere visible – every time you hear that inner critic start pestering you, look at this list.
Then tell Imposter Syndrome to, with all due respect, GTFO.
