Pulse Braincare is a new behavioral health and Braincare clinic located in the Central Park area of Denver. We treat patients with ASD, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, MDD, Mental Health Disorders, and those who are looking to optimize their cognitive function. While our location may be new, our technology and personalized protocols are not.
MeRT is a unique, evidence-based and science-backed treatment that has been shown to have a tremendous impact on our patients. While most therapies focus on attenuating or diminishing symptoms, Pulse and MeRT identify and treat the root cause, or the pathology itself. The credibility and effectiveness of MeRT is validated through various documented and ongoing studies, as well as clinical trials.
MeRT, Magnet e-Resonance Therapy, is a revolutionary form of patient-specific neuromodulation, or TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation). MeRT is a painless and non-invasive treatment with a very low side effect profile. MeRT uses proprietary algorithms and qEEG from tens of thousands of people to create a personalized treatment protocol for each individual patient. In conjunction with Wave Neuro, Pulse has the largest pre- and post-treatment qEEG database on the planet. This database gets more sophisticated and comprehensive with every patient we treat. Knowledge is power, and our algorithm puts the data to work, organizing thousands of data points for each patient.
It’s not just MeRT that sets Pulse apart. We’re powered by our people. Our practitioners are true thought leaders and pioneers in the neuromodulation space using MeRT. Our team of highly trained medical professionals maximizes what our technology can offer in terms of patient outcomes and individualized care. All protocols and treatment plans are created and updated throughout treatment by our practitioners.
Who are these thought leaders?
Our Medical Director and lead practitioner, Dr. Julie Kim, has over a decade of experience and has successfully treated over 5,000 patients using MeRT. Dr. Kim developed the blueprint for all clinics who use MeRT, and still educates and certifies any clinician who wants to use MeRT in their practice. She is, without question, the worldwide leader in MeRT, and we are blessed to have her on our team. Dr. Kim oversees our operations from a clinical standpoint and directs treatment protocols and delivery.
Individual patient brainwave synchronization is the secret to our success. qEEG, or Quantitative Electroencephalogram, is a process that evaluates brainwave activity by capturing thousands of data points in a very short period of time. Not all qEEG platforms are the same, and Pulse uses a differentiated qEEG to dive deeper and provide a more comprehensive analysis than others. We can then correlate these findings with an individual’s symptoms through clinical evaluations with Dr. Kim and her team. We’re patient-specific in virtually every process of our patient evaluation and treatment delivery.
Our treatment adjusts brainwave patterns, so naturally, protocols and plans need to adjust along with them. Power, frequency, time, placement – all variables of MeRT are curated with our algorithm and clinical evaluations. Throughout our treatment process, we reassess each patient’s brainwave activity with scheduled qEEGs every 2 weeks.
In terms of assessing each patient individually, creating a plan using the most powerful qEEG database on the planet, and adjusting patient-specific protocols throughout treatment – we are truly comprehensive in our approach. We believe in all therapies and treatment options that help our patients. We believe that Pulse Braincare can be a cornerstone to that treatment and augment the effectiveness of others to achieve optimal outcomes.
“The brain is a highly complex organ, and no two patients exhibit the same symptom profile. Brainwave activity is an individual identity that has a profound impact on our behavioral and mental health. No two patients have the same needs in terms of brainwave synchronization. We have access to something others do not. Simply put – MeRT sees where your brain wants to be, and Pulse can help you get there.”
