There’s a little piece of nostalgia tucked away in Northfield. Rocket Fizz Soda Pop and Candy Shop specializes in the soda and candy that you grew up with. Does anyone else remember being a kid and going to the beverage store to pick out flavored sodas with your parents? This will take you back to that time…
Who? What? Where?
Rocket Fizz is an independently owned and operated family business right in The Shops at Northfield Stapleton. The owner, Amber, is a self-proclaimed sugar & candy addict (with a disapproving dentist 😉 ). She is passionate about the sense of nostalgia that her store creates. You will find the shop at the Northwest corner of the mall next to Macy’s, across from Ergo and Jos A. Banks.
What will I find in the shop?
You will find a large selection of sodas, candies, tin posters (these are really cool), and more! There is a giant selection of specialty candies and saltwater taffy. You can mix and match soda packs, so you can try an array of flavors. If you’re stumped on what to try, grab a mystery bag and be surprised!
Why should I stop in?
Well, our first thought was sneaking tasty treats into a movie (but we didn’t say that out loud). It’s a great place to grab stocking stuffers (the holidays are right around the corner) or a unique gift for that third kid’s birthday party you’re headed too this weekend. Did we mention the retro tin signs and posters? You should check them out.
