Happy Friday everyone! What a dreary day… but we need the moisture depserately. For me, the weekend is bittersweet because all our plans were canceled – baseball tournaments, an outdoor graduation party, but now we get to enjoy some down time, perhaps catch some of the PGA Championship, an unexpected “weekend off” if you will. WELL…
Not really for us here at Focus Real Estate though as we have 4 homes for sale this weekend and the nice thing about weekends like this in the Real Estate world is serious buyers are still house hunting and we’re here for it!
Speaking of Real Estate, there are 54 active resale homes for sale in our neighborhood as of Friday May 20th, last weekend there were only 30. From there 20 homes went under contract and then another 30 homes came on the market! It’s definitly the hot selling season in terms of inventory. We’re just seeing the buyer demand slow a touch with interest rates climbing. It’s been quite a change from a month ago with inventory up, rates up and buyers down BUT the good news is buyers are able to find great homes and not compete anymore with 10 to 20 other interested parties. Central Park is still a very popular place to live in the Denver metro area. At Focus Real Estate we think the market is just shifting back a bit to a neutral market which is more equitable for both sellers and buyers.
