Online Fitness Options While We “Shelter in Place”

We’re all at home these days… we’re all in this together! Like it or not, this is our new “temporary” normal. We might as well adapt, create new routines and find ways to keep us physically and mentally healthy! For those of you who have been missing the structure and routine of your local gym, you are not alone. AND just like us, many of our favorite exercise facilities have adapted and created online workout options for us – this is so great! They are offering live streaming classes and on demand classes. Most are FREE and some have a small monthly fee to access the content. I have already partaken in quite a few online classes this week and it has felt great for my body and mind!

Here is a list of some local and national options to help you make it through.

Stapleton Area Gyms:

Bladium – Thanks to their partnership with Les Mills, The Bladium is able to offer FREE classes on demand to valued members. This platform offers 95 free workouts across 8 categories and will be available as long as the disruption from COVID-19 continues.

Endorphin – Endorphin will be livestreaming FREE classes through Zoom to keep thier community moving and connected! All workouts will be “at-home” friendly and will not require equipment to participate or will provide house hold item substitutions.

Livestream Classes: scheduled through Mindbody. You can view them as you would a normal class through either the Mindbody app or the Endorphin app (just search for “myendorphin” in the app store)! You can also view the schedule on their website. ALL CLASSES WILL BE LISTED UNDER THE CITY PARK LOCATION.

On-Demand Classes: Endorphin will be recording all livestream classes and posting them on the Endorphin Vimeo channel so you may access the workouts (for FREE) at your convenience and as often as you’d like. Check out some of their videos below and make sure to visit and subscribe to the Endorphin Vimeo channel!

YogaSix – YogaSix may be new to the Stapleton community but they have numerous locations around the Denver metro area and are currently offering their online streaming class options at a discount. You create an account and for $19.99 per month you will gain access to more than 50 hours of classes!

Barre Central – On demand class options for only $24.99 per month.

Bar Method – Try online classes for free for 14 days

Pure Barre – You can try on-demand classes with a 7 day free trial, and $29.99 per month after that.

Nationwide Digital Platforms:

Peloton – Peloton is offering their app FREE for 90 days right now. You do not need a peloton bike to participate in their classes. Classes range from cycling to yoga and more! This is a great way to try this platform out if you have been considering purchasing a peloton.

Beach Body On Demand – The Beach Body company has been at this longer than most of us have had our workout routines starting in the early 2000’s with P90X. For a low monthly or quarterly payment you gain access to over 1,100 World-class Beachbody programs including 80 Day Obsession™, 21 Day Fix®, PiYo®, 22 Minute Hard Corps™ and Core De Force™. They have yoga, cardio, dance, strength & more. You are able to download workouts for offline use. The platform also includes workout calendars & progress trackers, an online store to purchase apparel, supplements and features a blog with recipe and tip posts to help you succeed.

You can download the app through your IPhone or android or sign up online.

Please feel free to comment if you know of more options especially around our neighborhood as we try to support our local businesses.
