Easter Eggs, Baskets, Brunch, Brisket, Pie (and More!)

Spring is in the air and Easter is just around the corner. Here are a few fun options close to the Central Park neighborhood to help you celebrate the holiday.

Make a day of it at Stanley Marketplace (2501 N. Dallas St., Aurora), the area’s urban food hall, marketplace and small business collective where the independent 50+ businesses have a variety of offers for the holiday, including one that’s fun for all: guests who visit the marketplace on Easter weekend and spend $30 or more at Stanley on April 3 and 4 will get to select an Easter egg filled with special prizes, including offers, specials and freebies from Stanley businesses.

Mondo Market at Stanley is offering a set of gorgeous a la carte Easter brunch items for a do-it-yourself meal kit. Items include a mini Quiche Lorraine for 1, hash brown casserole that serves 4, a green salad for 4, raspberry eclairs with coconut icing and a blood orange bar with coffee & cardamom that serves 4. You can also opt for the beautiful Sunrise Breakfast bundle for a special Easter meal: the bundle includes take & bake croissants (6 pack; plain or chocolate); bacon, blood orange or plain orange Natalie’s Juice, Amish Acres Eggs, cheddar cheese, crispy potatoes and a jar of Bee Squared Honey. Don’t forget to add on an order of Bindi Waffles, Hunter Bay Colorado Organic Coffee or a bottle of Bellafina Prosecco (Italy) for some celebratory bubbles. Orders taken in-person, via phone, and online.

Chef Bill Espiricueta at Smok (3330 Brighton Blvd., Denver) is known for his regionally-inspired barbecue and this year he brings some of his favorites to the holiday. Two meal options for families or groups are available, starting with a Brisket Dinner: 5 pounds of Bill’s famed smoked brisket, family sized serving of ginger coleslaw, smoky pit beans and 6 pieces of Smok’s hatch chile & cheddar cornbread. This meal serves 6-8, depending on how hungry everyone is. The Pulled Pork Meal is 3.5 pounds of whole pork shoulder, a family sized ginger coleslaw, serving of pit beans and 4 pieces of our hatch chile & cheddar cheese cornbread. This meal is recommended for 4-6. The Brisket Dinner is $155 and the Pulled Pork Meal is $65: both meals are served with easy to follow reheating instructions. Orders are to be placed via phone only until April 1, and pick up time frames are available on both Saturday, April 3rd & Sunday, April 4th.

At Steuben’s Uptown, consider pre-ordering a key lime pie (pick up on Saturday, 4/3) and visiting for Easter brunch onsite to indulge in a few of the popular items including the famous French Toast, Traffic Jam breakfast or Greek Hash, starting at 9am on Sunday. Make reservations here.

Pick up an Easter Kit at Steuben’s Arvada and keep things simple and delicious. Reheat the meal at home with easy-to-use instructions, place your items on the fancy holiday dishes, and Easter brunch is ready to go. Don’t forget to add a batched cocktail for the crew. Link to order
